Applying to BCG's associate consultant program consists of four stages, including:

1️⃣ Application Submission

Your application journey begins with the Application Submission stage, where you’ll provide BCG with your personal details, resume, cover letter, and academic transcript.

3️⃣ First Round Interviews
Outline
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a BCG office to complete the first round of interviews. This comprises three interviews: two case study interviews with junior BCG consultants and a behavioural interview with a member of the HR department.

To prepare for the case interviews:

To prepare for the behavioural interview:
Review your resume as it may be use to ask questions.
Research consulting and understand what it is that BCG does.
Research BCG's values on their website.
Prepare responses to basic behavioural interview questions.

Hot Tip 🔥: When asked about your motivation for applying to any company, give specific reasons and avoid listing generic traits that apply to every consulting company. Do some research to understand what makes the company unique using: the company’s website, discussion platforms such as Glassdoor and Reddit, insights from past and present employees, and GradIQ’s company profiles.
4️⃣ Final Round Interviews
Outline
Applicants who pass the first round interviews will be invited back to the office to complete their final round interviews. These interviews comprise two case study interviews and a behavioural interview with BCG partners.
