GradIQ Academy is for ambitious university students who are serious about securing competitive internships or graduate roles in quant trading.

Whether you are new to job applications or already have interview experience, the Academy program will provide you with the resources, mentorship and community to be successful in your job search journey.

1:1 sessions are designed to prepare you for each stage of the application process and are tailored to your needs and the requirements of the trading recruitment process. They include:

Strategy Session

The first session is a strategy session designed to get you application-submission ready. During the session, we will:

• Clarify your career goals and target roles

• Build an interview preparation plan

• Rework your CV and provide cover letter guidance.

Mock Interview Sessions

All remaining sessions are designed to get you interview-ready through a series of behavioural and technical mock interviews.

The mock interviews cover a wide range of questions and topic areas that can be assessed, ensuring you have no knowledge gaps by the time you enter your interviews.

There is no fixed number of sessions.

We start with one session per week at a time that suits you, then adjust the cadence based on your needs.

For example, if you have multiple upcoming interviews, we may do multiple sessions in a week to ensure you have the necessary preparation for success. This flexibility ensures you get the right amount of support when it is needed most.

There is no fixed duration for the program.

While most of our students receive offers within a month of submitting applications, we understand some companies take longer to progress candidates through their recruitment process and we will keep supporting you until the recruitment cycle ends.

Sessions are delivered online via Zoom.

Curated CV & cover-letter templates, behavioural answer frameworks, technical problem sets, and online assessment practice materials matched to your target firms.

Peer community

Slack channels for cohort Q&A, accountability buddies, and student-run mock-interview sessions so you’re never practising alone.

Offer guidance & onboarding help

Once you land offers, we will support you in weighing up which offer is the best fit for you and provide additional support to ensure you hit the ground running in your new role.

Our mentors are current or former industry professionals who have passed the intern/graduate recruitment process themselves. Each mentor:

• Has received offers from top-tier firms (e.g. Optiver, IMC Trading, and others)

• Has a proven track record of guiding students to offers at elite companies
