What you'll do
Traders at VivCourt encounter various challenges that call on a spectrum of quantitative skills. When tackling certain challenges, traders interact directly with markets, making real-time decisions. When solving more complex problems, they use a more systematic approach, focusing on research, optimisation and operation of automated trading strategies.

Candidate Qualities
Essential Skills:
- Strong strengths in mental maths, probability and logic.
- A curious nature paired with excellent verbal communication.
- A keen interest in solving complex problems with a drive to get things done.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Coding skills in Python
- You’re an undergrad or postgrad with a STEM major or minor.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous passion for trading is a bonus, but it's not essential. We believe that those who enjoy solving challenging problems will excel in the world of trading.
Working Rights
We only accept students graduating in 2025 who are Australian Citizens/Permanent Residents, or New Zealand, United States, Hong Kong or Singapore Citizens.
